Rocco Ascone
I am currently a Postdoc at CANA group at the LIS laboratory at the Aix-Marseille Université, advised by Kévin Perrot under the project ALARICE.
I obtained my PhD at the University of Trieste in March 2026, with a thesis titled
Complexity, Computability, and Cryptography with Reaction Systems
under the supervision of Luca Manzoni and Giulia Bernardini.
My research focuses on studying natural computing models from a theoretical point of view, discrete dynamical systems and
fine-grained complexity applied to string algorithms.
